Decades Memorial Competition

Hey guys,

I was very sad to hear that the Decades store is closing down! So to honor this lovely vintage store I decided to make a little competition. I'm not sure about the prize yet, it will probably be around a 10 stardollar worth gift from your wishlist.

To win this competition you have to make a look that includes an item from the Decades store. For example, this look I made includes a decades skirt (Edward Stripes Skirt).

How do you enter? You post a stardoll-blog post with the title: "Decades Memorial Competition". In this article you post an image of your doll's outfit.
You will also need to leave your stardoll username in the comments below, so I know you've entered!

How do you save your doll's look? Easy! Go to your suite and click 'Save Doll' (it's below the camera option). Then, when writing the stardoll-blog post, click the 'Attach Existing Image' button (it's left to the 'Post' button). A screen will pop up that says 'Pick An Image', click the 'Album' tab, and then click the first "picture", this will be the picture of the doll you saved.

This competition will close april 13th. Then I will pick 3 nominees, and you will be able to vote for the winner!

Tattoo & Piercing Shop INK'D

Hello hello!

There is a new tattoo and piercing shop in stardoll and it's called INK'D!

On the right you see it's logo, you can find it at the beauty section :D

On the left is a picture of my doll with her new belly button piercing!

There's lots of new tattoo's and piercings! One thing you should know is that some of the tattoo's won't show up in your beauty parlor, instead you will find them in your suite... I found this rather annoying because I wanted to use the Dreamcatcher Leg Tattoo as an arm tattoo, but I couldn't, so I kinda wasted 7 stardollars there :(.

New Other World Hairstyles!

YES! We finally have some new hairstyles! I know you can make your own wigs in stardesign, but I've never been a big fan of those. So everytime a normal hairstyle comes out I'm HAPPEH :).

These are the 4 new hairstyles at Other World:

The Ice Princess Hair, for 15 stardollars, which you can see on the doll i_heart_cats.
This hair works best with colors that aren't natural hair colors. As you see it looks good with blue, but it looks also good in a dark grey or purple!
The Forest Warrior Hair, for 11 stardollars, of which you can see a thumbnail in the picture above (the one below the Ice Princess Hair).
I personally think this hair looks better with darker colors, either natural hair colors like a dark brown or for example a dark purple.
The Karolina Long Hair, for 12 stardollars, which you can see on my doll! (MissVickie).
I feel like this hair looks best with natural colors like blonde and brown. But you can always experiment!
The Forest Fantasy Hair, for 9 stardollars, of which you can see a thumbnail in the picture above (the one below the Karolina Long Hair).
I think this hair, like the Ice Princess Hair, looks best with colors that aren't natural hair colors. Like a dark red, or maybe even pink.

I'm liking them very much! Especially the Karolina Long Hair and the Ice Princess Hair, which I showed on 2 dolls :). I also think the prices are very reasonable for once.
